Jelly Roll Hits Back at Cheating Rumors Amid Bunnie Xo Divorce

Jelly Roll paused his concert on Thursday evening to address rumors online following news of his divorce from Bunnie Xo after 10 years of marriage.

During his Little Ass Shed Tour stop in Saratoga Springs, New York, the country artist said that this would be the only city and time he would address the online speculation. “The internet is a liar,” said Jelly Roll. “Me and my wife are best friends. We will always be best friends,” he told the crowd gathered at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center. “We just got off the phone earlier today. Nobody cheated on nobody.” He then directed fans to her latest Dumb Blonde podcast which also aired on Thursday and said, “Every word of it is the truth.”

Before continuing with the show, he reiterated: “That will be my best friend forever. This is the only time I will ever speak about it. Bunnie, I love you, baby. Thank you for those 10 years. Thank you for the next 10 years of friendship between and beyond.”

Earlier on Thursday, Bunnie discussed their IVF journey and the hardships they faced along the way on her podcast. Bunnie said that although they are divorcing, she and Jelly Roll still plan to have a baby together.

“It was so hard on me that for the past year and a half, I became a shell of the person I was because I’m doing these IVF journeys,” Bunnie said. “I’m fighting hard just to be able to produce enough eggs to make a baby with my husband, especially at my age.”

She also said that because the singer had a “low sperm count,” he “had to get on a bunch of hormones and a whole bunch of medication, which turned him into a freaking nightmare to be around.” Bunnie emphasized that she and Jelly Roll still remain close despite their separation.

“That’s my fucking best friend, dude. Like, I love him,” she said. “You guys are going to be shocked to hear this, but we’re still having a baby … We have been the most unconventional couple that you guys have ever encountered.”

Bunnie and Jelly Roll tied the knot at a Las Vegas chapel in 2016. Throughout his rise in the music industry, Jelly Roll often credited Bunnie with being a crucial anchor in his life and for supporting him financially through years of struggle. When they renewed their vows at the same chapel seven years later, Bunnie wrote in an Instagram post at the time: “Before we stumbled in that chapel, you grabbed my hands & looked me straight in the eyes & said, ‘Bunnie, our lives won’t always be like this. You won’t have to do what you do for much longer, we’re going to figure this out. I promise you.’ I had no idea what the world had in store for us, but I didn’t care as long as I had you by my side to conquer it.”
