WHAT’S ON?

At this workshop, the TRAID team will share ancient techniques of repair to give jeans and other denim items a longer life. Bring along your own pair of jeans or have a go on a sample item, to learn how to mend and reinforce denim with the decorative Japanese Sashiko stitching technique.

WHO ARE TRAID?

TRAID is a charity retailer offering an alternative to buying new clothes. On a mission to change high-street fashion for the better, TRAID collects, sorts, and resells quality clothes, using the profits to improve the lives of garment workers and their families. TRAID is actively, right now, supporting organic cotton farmers, funding daycare centres for the children of garment workers, and putting wearable clothes back into use.
